Pastor Eddie Bogier is Saved, Sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. He found salvation in 1972 while attending service at the Tabernacle of Prayer in Jamaica, NY under the late Apostle Johnny Washington of the Tabernacle of Prayer ministry. In 1977 he received a certificate in evangelism through the Tabernacle Christian School. Within that year, Eddie married his wife, Rose Thompson. From that union were born two beautiful daughters.
In 1980, Eddie was called into ministry under the leadership of Pastor James Woods of Zion Tabernacle Fire Baptize Holiness Church of God of the Americans where he served faithfully. In November 1986, he was commissioned by the F.B.H. organization and ordained as Pastor of Mount Calvary F.B.H. Church in Kannapolis, NC. He served as Pastor of the F.B.H. Church until November 1989.
In 1989, Pastor Eddie Bogier was led to join the Original Tabernacle of Prayer for All People Inc. in Goldsboro, NC where he served under the leadership of the late Apostle Lawrence Bogier, Jr. In August 1991, Eddie was ordained by Apostle Bogier and the Board of Elders as Elder and Pastor of The Original Tabernacle of Prayer in Spartanburg, SC which is now known as Rhema Tabernacle.
Coastal District Bishop William Cobb, sr. Chaplain
Bishop William Cobb, Born to the late David, Sr. & Sara Cobb on March 3, 1948. He was born in Pitt County North Carolina where he attended school with his three brothers and five sisters. After completing High School, Bishop Cobb travelled to New York City to begin a new chapter in his life. While living in New York, he met the love of his life; Annie Albright and they married on November 30, 1968. They have six beautiful children, 19 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Bishop Cobb accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on June 15, 1973 under the leadership of the Later Apostle Johnnie L. Washington. Bishop Cobb later became a member of the Tabernacle of Prayer Ministry where he served as a choir member, usher, deacon, and bus driver.
Bishop Cobb later moved to North Carolina where he attended Tabernacle of Prayer in Wilson NC under the leadership of Pastor Ida Hamilton and then he later became a member of the Original Tabernacle of Prayer for All People in Goldsboro NC, under the leadership of the Late Apostle Lawrence Bogier Jr. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit and the approval of his Pastor, Bishop Cobb started a mission in Grifton NC. In 1984, Bishop Cobb brought the first tent Revival to the city of Grifton, from that Revival many souls were saved, delivered and set free and the Grifton Tabernacle of Prayer was formed. In 1988 God blessed and Bishop Cobb and congregation was able to move into their new church home on 237 West Main St.
Bishop William Cobb continued to teach and preach the word of God. During this time, he also continues to study the word of God through the Tabernacle Bible Institute which later became the Tabernacle Christian University. Bishop Cobb earned his Associates of Theology from the Tabernacle Christian University. Bishop William Cobb, Sr. is the Pastor and Founder of the Grifton Community Tabernacle of Prayer for all People.
Central District Bishop Melvin Jones, Sr. Assistant Chaplain
Dr. Melvin Jones, Sr. is a native of Charlotte, NC, Where he received his formative education. From the time Bishop Jones was saved he had a love and burning desire to learn more of God’s Word.Because of that love, he began his Biblical studies through the Tabernacle Bible Institute which led to enrolling in Tabernacle Christian University earning an Associate, Bachelor and Master Degree in Biblical Theology. He earned Doctorate in Religious Education from the International Christian University.
He was saved in 1975 under the leadership of the late Pastor Bernice Davis at New Jerusalem Trinity and shortly afterward received the baptism of the Holy Ghost during a revival. While serving faithfully at the New Jerusalem Trinity under the tutelage of his former Pastor, he accepted the call of God on his life to preach the gospel. Bishop Jones is an accomplished preacher, teacher and pastor who has a burden for souls. He is a giver, prayer warrior and father figure to many. He possesses a wealth of knowledge from which flows Godly wisdom and he shares that wisdom freely. He is one that sows diligently and faithfully and pours his heart and soul into the ministry to the glory and honor of God.
He is the founder and Pastor of New Jerusalem Tabernacle located in Greensboro, NC, where he has been faithful watchman on the wall for over 25 years. Through divine intervention, God established him in Greensboro NC. In 1991, New Jerusalem Tabernacle was birthed in his home with the late Missionary Jestine Jones.
In 1985 he became affiliated with the Tabernacle of Prayer Fellowship under the leadership of our late Overseer Apostle Lawrence Bogier, Jr. He was appointed a member of the Board of Elders and later elected to serve in the position as Assistant Chaplin. He presently serves on the Executive Board of Bishops as the Assistant Chaplin and is the Dean of the Tabernacle School of Theology – Greensboro Campus.
Dr. Jones is the dedicated and devoted husband to his lovely wife of 17 years, First Lady Linda Jones, a very proud father to his two children, Elder Melvin Jones, Jr. and Minister Tonia Mozingo and grandfather to his eight grandchildren and two great grands.
Southern District Prophetess Nancy Kornegay Treasurer
Nancy A. Kornegay was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina on the 27th of January, to the late Herbert and Eva Holloway: she is the youngest of 13 siblings. Prophetess Nancy is the wife of Pastor Charles R Kornegay (Retired SFC). This union has blessed them with 5 children Lakisha Solomon, Charles Jr, Paul, Jacob, and they are the proud grandparents of 12 grandchildren. Prophetess Nancy was saved at the age of 16 through the ministry of the late Apostle Johnny Washington of Tabernacle of Prayer for All People Goldsboro, N.C. in an old fashion tent revival. After giving her life to the Lord she knew that God has a calling on her life and she was destined for ministry. She accepted her calling and were located to Hinesville, Georgia with her family via the military. The Hinesville ministry was started with her immediate family and five other members.
She began to witness to the people of Hinesville as the word of God directed her to go out into the highways, hedges, and compel them to come in, God’s house may be filled. Because of her obedience God has been adding unto the church daily as He promised. She has her Associates Degree and is working on her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biblical Studies. Prophetess Nancy Kornegay is the Founder, CEO of the Liberty Tabernacle of Prayer for All People INC. (LTOP), with her husband Pastor Charles Kornegay.
The church is known as the “Emergency Room” where souls are delivered, healed, and set free from the strong holds of the enemy. The “Emergency Room” is a place where the people of God can find love, life, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness and encouragement in Jesus Name.
